ROGUE: [rohg] noun, adjective -noun 1: a playfully mischievous person; scamp -adjective 2: no longer obedient, belonging, or accepted and hence not controllable or answerable; deviating, renegade. NOUVEAU [noo-voh] -adjective 1:Newly or recently created, developed, or come to prominence 2:New and different, often fashionably so.

Rogue Nouveau is the brainchild of Drum and bass MC/Singer/songwriter TALI. Rogue Nouveau is a project that "Is a representation of my love of Jazz, Big Band and showtunes, real old school performance styles, mixed up with my passion for Urban Beats, especially UK styles.." Think Sinatra and Shirley Bassey meets Roisin Murphy or Alison GoldFrapp mixed in with a bit of Dizzee Rascal and a dash of The Streets.

Rogue Nouveau is currently playing venues around London including most recently, the world famous Ronnie Scotts Jazz bar, plus the rowdy YoYo at Nottinghill Arts Club and The Soho Revue Bar.
