With Kenyan, Irish and South London roots Nico Lupo is a DJ that engulfs his world with music. Crate digging for vinyl, producing tracks, seeking out ‘fresh from a cow’s udder’ producers and piecing together seamless dance-floor shaking DJ sets on his own and with his GTP partner J,Ioannou make up only a small slice of his musical pie. His style and sheer passion for an expansive musical sound has seen him booked for various genre music nights across the UK and has played alongside heavyweights such as Eric Prydz, Pendulum, Andy George (Radio1) and Krafty Kutz to name a few. His energetic fusion sets have led him to rock clubs from The Ministry of Sound, Fabric and Turnmills as well as taking his sound further afield including Cyprus and Thailand. His past corporate musical adventures include concisely selecting and supplying the beats for Nintendo and playing at the Levi’s Store in Sloane Square for its 150th birthday celebration. 2010 and beyond, looks set to be a hectic and enjoyable time for Nico Lupo with all matters music.
